IlioTibial Band Syndrome (IT Band Sydrome)
Iliotibial band syndrome is caused by excessive friction or rubbing of the iliotibial band over the underlying bursa as it crosses over, and inserts into the outside of the knee. Often the result of repetitive knee-bending activities, this is an overuse injury usually seen in runners, walkers or those that require running or walking as part of their sport. To address ilotibial band syndrome, use the BioZoom, BioPad, and foam roller(s) or magic to breakup these adhesions, increase blood supply and decrease inflammation. Using the Following protocol(s) Dr. Mike has developed, you can guide yourself through pain and return to sport and play.
Use the BioZoom to breakup adhesion. Watch the following videos below and follow Dr. Mike's outlined protocols.

After you have elongated the muscle and fascia of the IT Band and TFL, the BioPad can be placed on the both the TFL and insertion of the IT Band to decrease pain and increase blood flow for accelerated healing and recovery times.
TFL IT Band Increase intensity of of BioPad until slightly uncomfortable ( more is not better, its just more) allow BioPad to cycle through 20 minutes |
Do this daily for healthy muscle and fascia.
